Several years ago, I noticed that my age and stress were catching up with me. It was very noticeable on the skin on my face(around my eyes, was just horrible). I had dark circles under my eyes, bags(& protein packs/fat pads), puffiness and lines & wrinkles. I had pretty much always taken good care of my skin. I washed my face every night & morning. And I applied a good moisturizer with SPF of at least 30.
Several years before that, I had gone through a really stressful time. And it lasted for a few years. Which, I think, really took a toll on my skin(especially on my face, around my eyes). And, I'm sure, getting older added to it, too.
I have a picture of my face right before I started using any anti-aging products. I did that so I could see if any of the products I was going to try, would really work. But, I'm really embarrassed about this picture and wasn't going to post it. I've gone back & forth, contemplating if I should post it or not. I look horrible(because of the bags, puffiness & all that) and I have no make up on. I really didn't want to post it. But, because I want you to see the difference when I used a certain product. So, I think I will go ahead and post it.
Next I will start telling you about the products I've tried so far. And the results I have or haven't gotten from them. I will tell/show you the products and results I'm trying now & products I will try down the line and their results. I will also tell/show you some tips & tricks that I do for hiding/covering problems areas with make-up. As I'm sure I probably won't find a product that will completely take away all my problem areas. Maybe some of these tips might help you, too.
I don't have many pictures so far of my face because most of the products haven't really done anything for me(no real noticeable changes). But, I will start taking more pictures(just to compare) from now on. I might even do some video's instead.
So, this is me ...... bags & all, before trying any anti-aging products. I know, I look horrible. But I wanted you to see what I was dealing with & trying to get rid of or fix. I hope I don't scare you. Just please be kind and remember this was just after several years of going through really stressful times and not having a stitch of make up on......

, I am a single mom, who's facial skin has been showing the dreaded signs of stress and aging. And I'm looking for something that will help turn back time for my skin. I studied Cosmetology when I was in my mid/later 20's. Cosmetology is the study of hair, make-up and nails. I'd been cutting, coloring & styling hair, applying make-up and doing nails for years even before that. I've always loved playing with make-up, nail art and all kinds of different hair styles, since I was about 9 or 10 years old.. I started watching my sisters and borrowing/using their make-up and tools, until I was a little older and could get my own. But, back to my aging & stress related facial skin. Especially, the skin around my eyes(the bags, puffiness, dark circles and lines & wrinkles). Probably, from not sleeping to good most nights. :) No matter the reason, I'm on a mission to find something or a combination of things to help correct this, so my skin looks healthy & youthful again. Or at least as good as I can possibly get it. I'm not expecting to look like I did when I was a teen or in my 20's or anything. But, I would like to be able to diminish the lines & wrinkles, puffiness, dark circles & creapiness(if that's even a word.... lol!) under my eyes as much as possible. That isn't to much to ask, is it? I think those problems make you look older & are the most noticeable, more so than anything else. Since most of the rest of your skin on your body you can cover up with clothes. So I've set out to start trying products to see if I can find something that will help. I decided to keep a record of(keep track of) the products I tried & their results(or lack of) by starting this blog. I might also try to add in some make-up tips/tricks to help hide these imperfections. In case you happen to have any of these same skin issues or problems & have thought about trying any of the same products. Maybe this will help you decide if you still want to, depending if I had gotten any results or not. Or, if you happened to have tried something that has given you some results, maybe you could leave me a comment & let me know what it is so I can try it too. I'd love to meet others that have these same concerns that have found or are looking to find results too. Please leave me a comment in the comment section. I look forward to meeting you! Thanks! Have a great day!
